a lot of people make mistakes when they're drunk and say things they "didn't mean" but alcohol takes away inhibitions meaning you're more likely to say what you think the truth and i knew you already thought those things about me but last night the words came out again again "You're a whore. I won't let the mistakes of today be the scars of tomorrow. Gonna make my own sky but I guess I'll have to borrow some stars from the old one- throw em in the mixture; and I'm sorry, mama, that I never did fix your old grand piano that I loved as a kid. I find it funny that you kept it even though I never did learn how to play, I just sat there and froze with my fingers on the keys- man, I really do miss those days when it was always, "Oh, she doesn't know better," now I look at my past and everything's a regret. But I won't let the mistakes of today be the scars of tomorrow.
